Norwegian Agents in Serbia

Capitalising on direct air connection between Belgrade (BEG) and Oslo (OSL), Serbia Convention Bureau joined forces with Air Serbia and Hilton Belgrade in bringing a group of distinguished Norwegian travel companies on a fam trip to Serbia.

 We welcomed the representatives of Berg-Hansen, Internasjonal Tours AS, Reisebyrået AS and AVIAREPS as Air Serbia’s sales agent for Norway. They have spent three days getting to know some of the highlights of Serbia regarding tourism and business travel.

 On the first two days, the focus was on Belgrade’s accommodation capacities, special venues and gastronomy, as well as cultural amenities together with some ideas for incentive experiences. The third and final day of the fam trip was reserved for the visit to the small baroque town of Sremski Karlovci and to Novi Sad, European Capital of Culture for 2022. Integral part of this excursion was the wine tasting and visit of the Beekeeping Museum, followed by an exquisite gastronomic treat in a nearby salaš restaurant.

 It was our privilege and pleasure to host such an enthusiastic group of travel professionals. They showed curiosity and great interest for Serbia. Hopefully, many more Norwegians will follow in their footsteps, both travel experts and tourists alike.
